Her birthplace was and is as an Catholic in the city of Manhattan's Upper East Side. Her parents enrolled their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. She was very fond of music from the time she was a child she learned to play the piano, and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first music. She performed in open mic nights. Her most favored artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. When she graduated from high school she attended New York University's Tisch School of Art to pursue a degree in music. The student did not finish her study, but left the school to start her musical career.
